Dad, the founder of Dadstronomy, is Kostas Sotiriou, the father of Ioanna and Alexandra, a passionate chef who wants his children to eat healthy and fresh food every day. Based on this, the idea of a school catering service was born, a gastronomic kitchen for schools. Freshly cooked meals for children of all ages. We Eat Together, We Grow Together!

Meals are cooked every morning at the Dadstronomy kitchen and transported fresh and hot to their destination. In addition to the quality of ingredients and the taste experience, Dadstronomy aims to promote social skills in children through communal dining. This includes communication, sharing/giving, eye contact, empathy, taking turns, discussing/developing topics, and exchanging opinions. This highlights the social benefits of the traditional dining table, where children develop through the participatory process of a meal. We eat together, we grow together!

The Goal of Dadstronomy

The goal of Dadstronomy, besides delivering freshly cooked hot meals to school in a pot, ensuring excellent quality ingredients, and ideal cooking, is to foster the development of skills and emotions during a shared meal with our peers. This includes setting the table, serving, asking for preferences, showing interest in our classmates, waiting our turn, trying new flavors and sharing the taste experience, assisting a struggling classmate, and imitating our friends.

And Healthy, Sweet Flavors

In the same vein, Dadstronomy also takes care of dessert, offering healthy sweet flavors, treats, and cakes with or without sugar, with or without gluten, for your children’s celebrations or birthdays!
